Awake Therapy What is it?

Awake Therapy What is it? Consciously Awake Counseling

What is Awake Therapy? In essence, to become Awake.  Awake Therapy is having honest, sometimes uncomfortable conversations that result in reconnecting with a deeper part of yourself to feel freer, more authentic, and more genuine in your relationships. Including the one with yourself. To become awake to your life and the reality of what is present. In essence, it is to awaken that part of you that knows how to love deeply.

It’s already there; there is no fixing it. You wake up to it.

Love Being the One Thing We All Crave

Lisa helps those that want to have more fulfilling relationships and life. When one works on one aspect of life that is holding them back it integrates other areas of life. Love is the one thing we all crave at a deep level. We crave our true nature, our self-love, and to express that love to others.

Awake therapy is becoming conscious in our life to where we are waking up to areas of our life where we become asleep. Where our conditioning has put blinders on us, and we are going through the motions. It’s an ongoing journey to pay attention to when we fall asleep.

This is something I work on continually.  Oh! I just was asleep. What was going on with me at that moment that I totally went blind to what I was doing or saying? I use curiosity as the tool for this. A non-judgmental place of truly having an interest in what might be going on in my subconscious to put me to sleep. We really can’t know we are asleep when we are. It’s when we awaken that we can genuinely look at the event, thought, or feeling that might put us to sleep.

How do you do Awake Therapy?

In my work, I use self-inquiry tools to investigate those areas.  It’s quite profound, actually.  With that, I can help others to awaken to what blinders they have to keep them in a loop of being asleep – of repetitive unconsciousness that creates issues in our lives.

Awake therapy is for those that truly want to live life and love others consciously and awaken to the beauty of what can unfold when we are truly awake.

  1. An intriguing discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you should write more on this subject matter, it may not be a taboo matter but usually people dont discuss these issues. To the next! Many thanks!!
